Task Reminder Summary Emails
Supplios automatically sends emails to users (suppliers and internal users) when they have assigned tasks, and can also send reminder emails for specific tasks. These are configurable in each workflow.
But for users with a large number of tasks assigned to them, individual notification emails sometimes be overwhelming.
For this reason, Supplios can also be configured to send a summary of all tasks assigned to a user on a periodic basis, such as daily, or weekly.
How it works
Task summary emails are sent on a fixed schedule (customizable), and are sent individually to each user who has open/active tasks assigned to them at that time. The email will include the total count of open/active tasks assigned to them, grouped by the type of workflow. (Quality Issue, PPAP, Sourcing Request, etc.)
The email also contains a link directly to the user's dashboard for quick and easy access to handle the uncompleted tasks.
You can see an example email at the bottom of this page.
Schedule options
The schedule for the task summary emails can be customized per supplier portal, and is currently fixed to the same schedule for all users in that portal.
The Supplios support team will update the schedule for you based on the request from an internal SuperAdmin of the host company.
Typically, we configure schedules such as:
- Daily, Monday-Friday, in the morning, ...or...
- Weekly, Monday morning
- ...other options are certainly possible
