Managing Items in Supplios

Supplios helps you manage your vendors/suppliers, but also helps you manage the parts/items that your buy from or outsource to these suppliers.

This allows you to track price and quote history per item, quality claims per item, PPAP and NPI history per item, and more.

The Items section in the Supplios app is where you manage these items and parts.

Here’s how to use this feature:

Add an Item:

    • Navigate to the Items area of the app, from the main menu on the left.
    • Click the green Add Item button.

  1. Required Information:
    • Item Name OR Part Number: You must provide at least one of these. It is OK to provide both.
    • Part Number must be unique for all items in your Supplios account.
    • Item Name does not have to be unique.
  2. Optional Information:
    • Part Number or Item Name: Only one of these is required (see above).
    • Categorize Parts/Items: Organize items into categories.
    • Description: Provide a description of the item.
    • Target Price: Enter the target price.
    • Current Price: Enter the current price.
    • Unit of Measure: Specify the unit of measure.

Item History:

    • Depending on which modules are activated you will be able to view things such as quote and quality history per item.
