Managing Email Deliverability in Supplios
Sending email notifications to both internal users and supplier users is an important part of the Supplios platform.
As such, Supplios works hard to ensure that important emails are delivered as expected, utilizing modern best practices for email deliverability combined with timely reporting of any deliverability issues.
However, it is still possible (but rare) that emails are blocked, quarantined, or otherwise put on hold by a company's email security system.
If Supplios detects that emails are not being delivered to any supplier user (because of emails being blocked, or because a user no longer works at that company), Supplios will block this user from being send most additional things through the portal. This helps to highlight any issues so that proper actions can be taken (assigning things to a different user, fixing the email deliverability issue, etc.)
Please refer to the advice below to ensure you receive all important emails from Supplios.
For all users (suppliers and internal users)
Tell your IT department to "allow-list" the following domains for receiving emails:
- relay.supplios.com (used for supplier portals hosted in the Supplios US Cloud)
- eu.supplios.com (used for supplier portals hosted in the Supplios EU Cloud)
Supplios only sends emails from these domains for important notification emails from the supplier portal, and never uses them for sales/marketing or other similar purposes.
Also, all emails sent from these domains utilize SPIF, DKIM, and DMARC best practices to prevent spoofing and/or other unauthorized sending.
For internal Admin & SuperAdmin users
There is a dedicated page in the Company Settings area that helps you manage any deliverability issues with supplier users. Find it by going to Company Settings -> Email Settings.
On this page you will find:
- a list of supplier users with known deliverability issues (the block list)
- instructions for how to handle users on the block list (deactivate and/or clear the hold)
- settings for sending a daily report to your admin/super-admin users with any new bounces to suppliers
Please talk with the Supplios Support team for any questions on using the tools on this page.
We also recommend instructing your suppliers to tell their respective IT departments to allow-list emails from the domains listed in the above section.
